How to Reach Ethereal Villas
Achlia is most conveniently accessible from Heraklion Airport (112km, 1.5h drive) and Sitia Airport (74km, 1h drive), which operate international flights.
The Airport of Chania, at 255 km, is an alternative route.
There are several ports around Crete, with Heraklion being the main sea gate linking the island to the mainland and the Aegean.
Directions from Heraklion Airport, Nikos Kazantzakis:
• Leave the airport on the “national new road” toward Agios Nikolaos.
• Shortly before Agios Nikolaos, follow signs to Ierapetra.
• In Pachia Ammos, turn right to Ierapetra.
• At the entrance of Ierapetra, turn left toward Sitia. Drive along the sea via Koustounaki, Ferma, Agia Fotia, Galini to Achlia.
• When you see Apartment Hotel Achlia on your left, continue 30 meters forward. You will see an iron gate on your right where the Ethereal Villas are located.
